1949 MAGNATONE VARSITY:

Replaced all capacitors with Sprague Atom Electrolytics and Orange Drop Polys. The original speaker was blown and was substituted for with a Jensen Mod 8". A replacement speaker baffle was made to fit the new larger speaker and was then recovered with the stock grill screen. The frayed two prong power cord was removed and a new three prong cord was installed in it's place. One of the two 1/4" inputs was converted into a external speaker jack, allowing the amp to be used as a head to drive various speaker cabinets.

1971 UNIVOX U-1246:

Legend has it this amp used to live in a cave at the bottom of Lake Superior. A fisherman brought it in and we gave it an overhaul. New JJ Electronics can capacitors and clamps, tubes, resistors, power cord and wiring. Amp corners and handles had all rust removed. Tolex and cloth were cleaned and reglued. A great sounding amp. Very similar to a Marshall JTM-45.

1962 PREMIER 120R (with Reverberation and Tremolo):

Jay's beloved and often misunderstood Premier 120R. Brought back from the brink of extinction and nestled in duct tape. Along the lines of an early Fender Tweed, but with even surfier reverb. Currently enjoying a break from gigging.

The late Rockabilly/Psychobilly legend and Rockabilly Hall-of-Famer Hasil Adkins' Yamaha FG-345 acoustic. Acquired along with his harmonica shortly after his passing. R.I.P Haze.
